Local Proud

* EDUCATE YOUR CUSTOMER.  Your customers know you and trust you.  Tell them about Local Proud and what their business means to you and to the whole of the Milford Community. Brochures outlining the program will be made available to you and your customers by the end of October. 

* USE THE POWER OF M.  Use the Local Proud logo on your direct mailings, advertising, and emails.  Display the Local Proud decals and make them available to your customers. Use Local Proud "I Shop Local" bag tags.  Keep reminding people that when they shop local, they make a direct contribution to Milford.

* SHOW OFF MILFORD PROUD.  Get the message across by making available totes, t-shirts, mugs (really anything with the iconic M) to your customers.  By purchasing these items they are supporting Local Proud and your store, and by using these items, they are showing off Local Proud.

*ENCOURAGE OTHER BUSINESSES TO JOIN.  The more businesses that join, the stronger we are.   New businesses, new energy, more ideas.  Let's be 100s strong and Local Proud.

* CUSTOMIZE YOUR M.  By downloading a blank M, you can design your own look (keeping the iconic M recognizable, of course)  and you can change as the seasons or mood changes.  Keep it fresh and you will get noticed. 

* SELLING LOYALTY.  The M keys are wonderful way to reward loyalty.  Sell the M keys for $25.00 to your customers (these keys will be available October 30th).  These keys unlock the many doors of Milford by offering gifts and/or savings at any participating Local Proud business.  Let your customers GO TO TOWN. 

* IT'S ALL ABOUT YOU.  We need your ideas.  We need you to make everyone Local Proud by helping us shape this program into something fresh, exciting and rewarding.
